Fiona joined expert consultation on FII and policy change
On March 17th - 18th 2025, Fiona joined around 20 specialists for an exclusive consultation event under the Chatham House Rules at St George's House, Windsor Castle, to discuss FII and the over-representation of disabled and autistic families being wrongly accused or investigated. With representation from those with lived experience, legal specialists in human rights, academics, and child protection practitioners, the 24 hour event brought together a diverse range of views with the aim to discuss the current challenges with FII guidance and the application of this by Local Authorities and Child Protection teams, and together to decide actions moving forwards. A formal report will be available in due course.
