Dr Claire Kelly

 

Dr. Claire Kelly BSc (Hons), MSc, PhD, PGCert APIMH, DClinPsy is one of our Sessional Clinical Psychologists (HCPC registration PYL044803). Through Spectrum, Claire will support the highly specialised private clinical assessments relating to autism spectrum conditions and ADHD. 
Claire also works in the NHS, in physical health psychology and rehabilitation. Claire has a keen interest in research and neuropsychology, and completed a PhD in psychology at Lancaster University. Claire developed an interest in autism spectrum conditions and ADHD during her training in clinical psychology at Newcastle University, where she completed placements within both Newcastle University's Neurodevelopmental Assessment Service and Newcastle and Gateshead’s Children and Young People’s service neurodevelopmental pathway. This involvement with autism assessments has meant Claire has developed competence in assessing autism and ADHD in adults, as well as skills and knowledge to support the assessment of autism and ADHD in children.
